Opportunity Quilts and Fund Raisers
Many quilt guilds and needle arts groups make one very special quilt a year, which is used as a fund-raiser for their yearly programs. This quilt is displayed at public places, where raffle tickets are sold. When the winning ticket is pulled, one very lucky winner is the new owner of this lovely quilt.
Needless to say, the quilt and the quilting must be eye-catching. The more striking it is, the more tickets are sold. Below are photos of some I have completed. As you can see, the beauty and variety of these quilts is quite remarkable.
