Hi! I'm Lin.
 
   As long as I can remember I've been sewing and quilting. I've made clothes for my children and grandchildren, suits for my husband and more quilts than I can count. I LOVE the creativity involved. 
   My first quilt was machine-pieced and hand-quilted in 1968, during my first year of marriage. (Yes, I AM that old! :-} The quilt frame was nearly as big as the living room I put it in and it seemed to take forever to complete the project. Here's what it looks like today....

             

  
   After retiring from teaching, I began quilting once again. By this time, there were such amazing things as rotary cutters, cutting mats, and acrylic rulers. So many toys to experiment with! I was like a kid in a candy shop!
 
     At a Quilt Show in Idaho, I tried my hand at a longarm quilting machine. That was it! I was HOOKED! I had to have one of my own. After checking out a number of professional quality machines, I ordered a top of the line "Millennium" from APQS (American Professional Quilting Systems.) What a joy it is to operate! With its stitch regulator capability, I can create beautiful designs with awesome stitch quality. I am so happy to be quilting like this! My husband says he's never seen me happier.
 
    One of my great joys is helping a fellow quilter turn that TOP into an honest-to-goodness QUILT! I love being a partner with you! Your quilt top is a one-of-a-kind creation. My goal is to help you finish it with just the right quilting design. Together we'll plan and then bring it to life.
