*Overall Quilting/Edge to edge*
The same pattern is stitched over the complete quilt.
It is the most economical choice.
Includes meander, loops, artist-designed roll patterns/pantograph, free motion designs
1.5¢/square inch & up  
  •  Meandering Loops and open, airy patterns = 1.5 cents/square inch
  •  Medium density patterns = 2¢/square inch
  •  Dense, intricate pattern = 2.5¢/square inch

     

    Add a Unique Border

    3¢/square inch & up

    Special design in the border with Edge to Edge in the body of the quilt.

     

    Custom work

    • --Individual block work, sashing, borders, feathers, wreaths--

    The price of custom work depends on the amount of time involved.

    Intricate designs and stitch in the ditch work take considerably longer to complete.

     

    Light Custom: starting at 3 cents/square inch

       Simple block designs, larger stippling/meandering, loop-de-loop, simple borders without "turning the quilt."

     

    Standard Custom: starting at 3.5 cents/sq. inch

     

    Advanced Custom/ heirloom work: starting at 4.5¢/square inch

    • Quilts requiring stitch in the ditch, outlining or significant background fills.
    • Complexity of design and time required for completion determines price.

       *Thread*

      • Solid color threads available for $5.
      • Specialty threads (King Tut, variegated, speciality or metallic) $10/color
      • Bobbin Thread is included.
      • Thread may be provided by customer (subject to approval) Superior thread recommended
      • We use a compatible thread color for the back
        .
      *Batting*
      Batting must be at least 4-6" wider and 4-6" longer than the quilt top.
      It should not be larger than the backing.
      For your convenience, batting is available for purchase.
      Our prices include cutting and squaring batting.
